Investing in venture companies that scale.

Since launching Brilliant Minds, I've gotten tons of applications from people in their 50s to 72, all building incredible things from chips to marketplaces!

With this in mind, I'd like to share more about the Brilliant Minds thesis. Brilliant Minds will invest in venture companies.
What is NOT a venture company? Things like a real estate project, a consulting firm, or a restaurant. This is because I’m not interested in dividends and also because these don't scale at a global level. A VC can realize a return through an exit, an IPO, or sometimes through the secondary market. So, a loan might be more appropriate for you if you're starting such a project.

A venture company has the potential to open new markets (platforms) or disrupt an existing market. You offer something that transforms existing solutions, for example, turning a luxury into a commodity.

It has compound effects: the more users or clients you have, the better it becomes. Those with more financial resources will likely win if you're only competing in the number of clients without adding compound value.

The best venture companies have network effects — an investor's dream. You don’t have to acquire each user or client individually. Word of mouth is naturally embedded in the nature of the product.

I'm looking forward to more applications. The first investment is not far!
